Jeder Cyberangriff braucht eine passende Schwachstelle, um erfolgreich zu sein. Unsere Mission ist es, Sicherheitslücken und Schwachstellen in der IT aufzudecken, bevor sie ausgenutzt werden können. Wir reduzieren das Risiko und die Auswirkungen von Cyberangriffen auf Unternehmen, Organisationen und Arbeitsplätze um bis zu 99,9 %. Entscheidend dafür sind unsere täglich aktualisierten Feed Produkte. Um den Enterprise Feed strategisch weiterzuentwickeln, Upsell-Potenziale zu heben und gleichzeitig den Community Feed so attraktiv zu halten, dass er weiterhin als Sprungbrett für neue Kund:innen dient, suchen wir Dich als Product Owner Feed (m/w/d).
Welche Aufgaben erwarten dich
  • Strategische Weiterentwicklung des Feeds:
    Du verantwortest die Gestaltung und Positionierung des Enterprise Feeds sowie die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung des Community Feeds. Dabei sorgst Du für Mehrwert, der einen klaren Anreiz zum Upgrade auf die Enterprise-Version schafft.
  • Wachstumsorientierte Produktführung:
    Du definierst und verfolgst relevante KPIs (z. B. Feed Coverage) zur Maximierung des Produktwachstums. Auf Basis von Markt-, Wettbewerbs- und Kundenanalysen identifizierst Du neue Chancen und leitest daraus innovative Features und Funktionen ab.
  • Roadmap- und Backlog-Management:
    Gemeinsam mit den Entwicklungsteams erstellst und pflegst Du die Product Roadmap sowie das Backlog. Du priorisierst Anforderungen basierend auf Kundennutzen, Markterfordernissen und Unternehmenszielen. Dabei arbeitest Du eng mit dem CPO und anderen Product Ownern zusammen.
  • Enge Zusammenarbeit mit den Entwicklungsteams:
    Du arbeitest eng mit Deinem und anderen Entwicklungsteams zusammen. Insbesondere stellst Du gemeinsam mit unserem Feed Content Team unsere Marktführerschaft in der Feed Coverage sicher. Du sorgst dafür, dass die Teams immer wissen, woran sie arbeiten sollen, was am wichtigsten ist und wo die Reise hingeht.
  • Architektur- und Sicherheitsfokus:
    In Zusammenarbeit mit unseren technischen Expert:innen stellst Du sicher, dass die Feed-Architektur robust, skalierbar und zukunftssicher ist. Zudem achtest Du auf hohe Sicherheitsstandards und optimale Performance.
  • Kundenorientierung im Fokus:
    Du stellst sicher, dass der Kundennutzen im Zentrum aller Entscheidungen steht. Dein Ziel ist es, Nutzer:innen bei der Minimierung digitaler Risiken bestmöglich zu unterstützen.
Was solltest du mitbringen?
  • Mehrjährige praktische Erfahrung als Product Owner, idealerweise im Kontext von Softwareprodukten und/oder Security.
  • Fachlicher Hintergrund in der Softwareentwicklung und ein gutes Verständnis von Softwareentwicklungsprozessen.
  • Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit agilen Methoden und in der Priorisierung von Anforderungen unter Berücksichtigung von Kundennutzen und Marktdynamik.
  • Die Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte verständlich aufzubereiten, Prioritäten zu setzen und Dein Team dafür zu begeistern.
  • Eigeninitiative, Selbstorganisation und eine ausgeprägte Kommunikationsstärke.

Who we are
Every cyberattack must exploit some type of vulnerability to be successful. Greenbone’s mission is to identify IT security vulnerabilities and weaknesses before they can be exploited. We reduce the risk and impact of cyberattacks on companies, organizations, and workplaces by up to 99.9%. Our daily updated feed products are crucial to this effort. To strategically develop our Enterprise Feed, leverage upselling potential, and keep our Community Feed attractive enough to serve as a springboard for new customers, we are looking for you as a Product Owner Feed (m/f/d).
Your mission
Strategic Feed Development:
You are responsible for shaping and positioning the Enterprise Feed as well as continuously evolving the Community Feed. In doing so, you ensure added value that clearly incentivizes an upgrade to the Enterprise version.
Growth-Oriented Product Leadership:
You define and track relevant KPIs (e.g., feed coverage) to maximize product growth. Based on market, competitor, and customer analyses, you identify new opportunities and derive innovative features and functions from them.
Roadmap and Backlog Management:
Together with the development teams, you create and maintain the product roadmap and the backlog. You prioritize requirements based on customer value, market demands, and business goals. In this process, you work closely with the CPO and other Product Owners.
Close Collaboration with Development Teams:
You work closely with your own development team as well as others. In particular, you collaborate with our Feed Content Team to ensure our market leadership in feed coverage. You make sure that your team members always know what they should be working on, what matters most, and where we’re headed.
Architecture and Security Focus:
Working with our technical experts, you ensure that the feed architecture is robust, scalable, and future-proof. You also pay close attention to high security standards and optimal performance.
Customer-Centric Focus:
You ensure that the customer benefit is at the heart of all decisions. Your goal is to help users minimize digital risks as effectively as possible.
Your profile
  • Several years of practical experience as a Product Owner, ideally in the context of software products and/or security
  • Professional background in software development and a solid understanding of software development processes
  • Experience working with agile methods and prioritizing requirements while taking customer value and market dynamics into account
  • The ability to present complex issues in an understandable way, set priorities, and inspire your team
  • Initiative, self-organization, and strong communication skills
