As part of our strong growth and international expansion, we are looking for an experienced Presales Consultant (m/f/d) with a technical understanding of vulnerability managemen to support our activities in the Netherlands. With your technical expertise and passion for IT security, you will inspire customers and partners in the Dutch market. You will play a key role in our sales projects and serve as a technical ambassador for Greenbone in the region.
Your mission
As a key player in our newly-established regional sales team, you’ll be the go-to technical expert for our Account Executives in The Netherlands. You’ll guide and support our customers throughout the entire sales journey - from the first presentation to the successful rollout of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
  • Provide expert technical consulting during presales activities in interesting projects
  • Work closely with our global sales teams to craft tailored security solutions
  • Deliver compelling customer presentations – on-site or via webcast – confidently in both Dutch  and English
  • Support tenders, RFPs, and the development of technical proposals
  • Lead Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) and pilot deployments, showcasing the real-world value of our solutions
  • Plan and execute installations across complex and dynamic IT environments
  • Provide technical leadership on large-scale customer projects
  • Seamlessly integrate our cybersecurity solutions into existing IT infrastructures
  • Continuously optimize and evolve our presales processes to stay ahead of the curve
What you offer
  • Solid experience as a Presales Consultant in the field of Cybersecurity
  • Good knowledge of network technologies, virtualization, and vulnerability management
  • Experience in an international project environment is desirable
  • Greenbone know-how is a plus - but not mandatory
  • Very good Dutch and English skills (technically proficient)
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness, and customer orientation
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%)
  • Independent, structured way of working and team spirit

Your Application Process at Greenbone

1. Initial meeting with the Talent Acquisition Team (Duration: 30–45 minutes)
2. Interview with the Hiring Manager and Peer (Duration: approx. 60 minutes)
3. Final interview with Department Lead or C-Level (Duration: approx. 60 minutes)

The process may vary slightly depending on the position. For some technical roles, a case study is included between the second and third interview.

We are experiencing strong growth and are looking for a professional Pre-Sales Consultant (m/f/d) with a technical understanding of vulnerability management.

In this key role, you will work closely with our sales team to present our vulnerability management solutions to potential customers and support them with implementation. Support will take place either on-site or via webcasts with customers.
Deine Mission
  • Support of the sales team through close cooperation with the Greenbone support team
  • Supporting our sales partners in customer projects and looking after important key account customers
  • Conducting presentations on Greenbone Security Services, both at customer meetings on site and in web meetings
  • Participation in the technical aspects of tenders
  • Providing technical support to customers as part of test setups
  • Analyzing customers' networks to plan the type and size of installation
  • Technical introductions via web meetings
  • Accompanying the commissioning of large installations
  • Opportunities for improvement in presales processes are identified and driven forward in a targeted manner
  • Planning and supporting installations and integrations of our products with other IT security products and in network infrastructures
  • Planning and supporting vulnerability scans and setting up and documenting security processes for vulnerability management

  • Experience with IT systems and IT networks
  • Know-how in the area of virtualized network environments and their management
  • Product experience is desirable, but not required, but ambition and great interest in constantly deepening and expanding it
  • You convince with a confident and self-confident appearance
  • You are communicative, open and eager to learn
  • You enjoy new technologies and methods
  • You are motivated by complex and challenging tasks
  • You already have work experience in the IT sector
  • You want to change and help shape processes
  • You recognize tasks independently and can complete them in a structured manner
  • You are a strong communicator and have very good communication skills in English and Dutch
